Privacy Policy
Trust is the cargo. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the control you have over it.
Last updated · 25 July 2026 · Version 1.001 Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Gravity Global Exports ("Gravity", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit our websites, create an account, or use our platform and services (the "Platform"). It covers people who interact with us — visitors, prospects, customers, and their authorised users.
When we provide the Platform to a customer, that customer generally decides what personal data is entered about their own contacts and buyers. For that data, the customer is the "controller" and we act as a "processor" on their behalf — see Section 11.
02 Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & profile — name, business email, company, role, and credentials.
- Billing — company details and payment information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
- Communications — messages, demo requests, and support enquiries you send us.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage & device — pages viewed, features used, IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Cookies & similar technologies — as described in Section 10.
Information from third parties
We may receive business-contact and firmographic data from partners and public sources to improve our services and buyer-discovery features, subject to applicable law.
03 How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Platform;
- Authenticate users and manage accounts and billing;
- Respond to enquiries and provide support;
- Send service messages and, where permitted, relevant marketing you can opt out of;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal data. We may use aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you for analytics and product research.
04 Legal bases for processing
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and improving our business (balanced against your rights); your consent (for example, certain cookies or marketing); and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
06 International data transfers
As a platform for global trade, we may transfer and process personal data in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms — to protect your data when it is transferred internationally.
07 Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it. Customers can also request export or deletion of their data as described below.
08 How we protect data
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, least-privilege principles, monitoring, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected parties and regulators of qualifying incidents as required by law.
09 Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. Under the CCPA/CPRA, you may request to know, delete, or correct personal information and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell personal data), without discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@gravityglobal.exports. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If we process data on behalf of a customer, we will refer your request to that customer.
11 Data we process on behalf of customers
When our customers use the Platform to manage their own buyers, leads, and contacts, they determine what personal data is entered and how it is used. For that data we act as a processor and handle it according to our agreement with the customer and their documented instructions. If you are a buyer or contact of one of our customers and wish to exercise your rights, please contact that customer directly; we will assist them as needed.
12 Children's privacy
The Platform is a business tool not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the Platform or by email.
14 Contact us
